Transportation Procedures

If child is to be picked up from school.

Arrive no later than 2:30-2:45
  • 15 min. after school is out attempts will be made to contact parents.
  • If parents cannot be contacted, emergency contacts will be contacted.
If child is still at school after 45 minutes, the police will be notified and your child will be transported to the shelter.
  • Parents will be required to appear at a shelter hearing the following day to determine appropriate action.
  • If a child needs to be transported to the shelter at any time, a meeting with the Program Manager will be scheduled to discuss the problem.
If a child is picked up after 2:30 p.m. (or 12:30 shortened day) three times in any one quarter, he/she will be suspended for one week.

Davis Van Policy

Van is not provided for Ogden class.
Van provided by Weber Human Services
  • Program staff drives the van.
  • No food or drinks on the van.
Van Schedule and Locations
  • Drop-off and pick-up times and locations can be discussed with your child's teacher.
  • Last Wednesday of the month no van.
Van Procedures
  • If you are going to miss the van you need to call the office by 8:30
  • If you fail to notify us that your child will not be on the van we will record that as a failure to notify.  After three occurrences van privileges will be lost for four weeks.
  • If you are running late or will be picking your child up from school you need to call the school as soon as possible. If you are not at the stop by 2:45 (even if you have phoned beforehand) we will record it and after three occurrences van privileges will be lost for four weeks.
